Title: Dinnertime

A/N: I actually wrote fluff. And not only once, but twice. There isn’t even any angst to speak off. *in shock* That never happens...



Dinnertime

Alphonse reached over with his fork and speared a piece of chicken off Edward’s plate.

“Al!” Edward said. “Eat your own damn food.”

“It tastes better if it’s yours,” Al replied, and put the chicken in his mouth. Edward stared at his brother for a moment, stood, walked around the table, and picked a green bean off Al’s plate with his fingers. He popped it into his mouth and chewed, smiling as he did.

Without warning Al pulled Edward down into his lap and covered Ed’s mouth with his own.

The kiss tasted just like Edward’s food: delicious and forbidden.

Ice Cream

Edward’s hand was warm and solid on the small of Al’s back, and the ice cream was cold and sugary in his mouth.

Edward’s ice cream cone was temptingly close, and Al leaned sideways and swiped a lick with his tongue. Ed gave him that admonishing look, but didn’t say anything.

They ate their ice creams in silence, sitting on the porch swing outside their house.

“You have it on your nose,” Edward said, and licked the tip of Al’s nose. Then he moved downward, and dipped his tongue in Al’s mouth, tasting the sweetness of sugar and his brother.

Candy

“Here ya go, Al,” Edward said, and handed his brother a bag of gummie worms. Alphonse grinned widely.

He pulled one out of the bag, tipped his head back, and slowly slipped it into his mouth, sucking the long fruity flavoured candy, before drawing it out of his mouth, and licking the edges around.

Edward, watching, found himself enraptured. He was going to stop buying him those things.

“Just eat it, Al,” he said, and then he was biting the other end, chewing it towards his brother, until their lips were touching and the candy was dissolving in their mouths.
